Kühne Coffee overview of global specialty coffee origins

- Premium organic coffee beans from Cameroon -

Unique environment for the perfect coffee cultivation

Our organic raw coffee beans from Africa come from controlled organic cultivation in the northwestern highlands of Cameroon. The Arabica coffee tree is grown by small farmers at an altitude of 2,100 meters on the nutrient-rich, dark, volcanic soil. This higher region offers ideal growing conditions for the demanding coffee plants and an outstanding expansion of the aromatic substances.

Noble luxury delicacy for gourmets - The most exclusive highland coffee in the world -

One of our gems is the coveted Jamaica Blue Mountain Arabica coffee. This noble variety can only be grown in selected regions worldwide, including the highlands of Cameroon, and is therefore one of the top category of coffee beans.

What makes Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee special?

The flowering season of the Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee plant coincides with the rainy season, allowing the Arabica coffee tree to receive additional nutrients. However, the coffee berries ripen during the dry season. Under the bright sun, the berries quickly reach an optimal sugar content and remain low in acid.

With Kühne coffee you have the opportunity to enjoy the best coffee in the world with its mild, nutty-fruity taste and multi-faceted aroma.

Direct and fair trade coffee sourcing logo

Direct fair trade for real organic coffee enjoyment and social justice

Offering coffee connoisseurs top-quality organic coffee from controlled organic cultivation and being able to provide fair remuneration for the farmers in Cameroon: That was our top priority right from the start. That's why at Kühne Kaffee we rely on fair and long-term supply relationships that secure the livelihoods of farmers and the workers involved in sorting the coffee beans. The farmers receive a price set by Agenda 21, an action program of the United Nations, for their green coffee beans. This fair price is 40 percent higher than the world market price for green coffee. In this way, we promote sustainable trade and bring organically certified, high-quality coffee to Germany.
By purchasing our Kühne organic coffee products, you are supporting people with disabilities and able-bodied people in the Bafoussam region of Cameroon who are involved in cultivating coffee and sorting the coffee beans.
