Convenient management of roasting records thanks to embedded software that keeps track of each roasting process.

Allroast dateswillautomatically logged, which greatly simplifies the management of roasting profiles and production history. You can name, describe and add memos to your profiles.

control heat sources

Consistently roasted, high-quality coffee thanks to reliable preheating and precise heat control.

The inlet calorific value of natural gas varies according to the pressure level, which can fluctuate even during the day. The gas pressure gauge can help measure the change in pressure. However, the user needs to readjust the roaster's input heat level according to the pressure change. In addition, since gas roaster settings are not proportional to the actual amount of gas, it becomes even more difficult to measure the amount of heat transferred to the beans in real time.

On the other hand, electric roasters like S9 are not affected by the pressure level difference, and each control level is directly proportional to the amount of heat input.

The larger the batch, the greater the loss when the coffee beans are burned. In turn, the innovative technology of the S9 enables the precise measurement and control of the heat sources to contribute significantly to reducing the loss rate.

preheat

Both the drum interior and drum wall temperatures are heated to preset temperature levels.

The most important element for the invariable replication of the stored roast profile is the constant temperature of the air in the drum and the drum wall when the coffee beans are inserted.

Measuring the drum wall temperature of a traditional gas roaster was simply not available, and even if measured, the same temperature rating would produce different roasting results due to the different external environment, bean condition, and other uncontrollable variables. Although traditional roasters are equipped with a variety of other measurement sensors, they cannot accurately predict the roast trend without accurate and continuous drum wall temperature measurement.

The Smart Roaster S9 measures the temperature of the drum wall and inside the drum and preheats it to the target temperatures. Embedded in the stationary 5-layer drum structure, the tower drum sensor continually measures and adjusts its temperature to perfectly mark target temperatures.

Manage user interface

No more monitoring the coffee roaster during preheating.

Set the preheating temperature for the interior and the tower drum. The coffee roaster heats up automatically until the two preset temperatures are reached. The message "Preheat complete. Ready to Roast.” is displayed on the screen in the form of an alarm notification. No need to set a timer or keep checking the thermometer. The S9 will notify you when it's ready for another roast at the exact same preset temperatures.

Take full control of the roaster with a tap of your finger.

You can easily control the convection (convection) and halogen (radiant) heat on the touch display, monitor the progress of the roasting process in real time, and automatically save all roasting data to the embedded roastware.    The intuitive touchscreen interface is a privilege only available to S9 users.

Use additional functions

The Smart Roaster is now smarter thanks to the additional features.

Additional measurements and features give roasters more control over the roasting environment.

1. Hot air and halogen can be regulated in 20 levels

2. RoR indicator (slew rate)

3. Hot air and exhaust gas temperature sensors

4. 10-level impeller speed control

5. Advanced data logging function

Because all measurements are displayed in real time, the S9 is optimized to consistently roast the best quality coffee beans.

Heat control is key to coffee roasting.

The intensity of the hot air (convection) and the halogen (radiation) can be controlled individually from level 0 to 20.     Through the precise and separate control of the two heat sourcescan usera wider range of flavorsdevelop and explore.

unloading

8

Faster cooling prevents the development of beans after unloading.

The S9's fan cools the temperature of the roasted beans down to room temperature within 1.5 minutes. Which is about 1/3 of the time required by other roasters.Faster cooling prevents the residual heat of the beans from developing further after unloading.

* Correlation between cooling time and coffee taste: According to research, the cooling time after roasting can have a significant impact on the taste of beans. After more than 4 minutes, the "sweetness" of the beans will be significantly reduced. In general, the longer the chilling time, the higher the chance of over-roasted or dried-out beans, resulting in an imbalanced flavor.

cooling down

9

You no longer have to wait for the coffee roaster to cool down. Just turn it off once you're done roasting.

The 5-layer drum structure responds quickly to the changes in heat control and ensures a longer service life. Unlike the traditional drum roasters that require the user to wait for the roasting drum to cool down to prevent deformation, the S9 eliminated such inefficiency. The coffee roaster can be turned off immediately and is still Before protected against deformation.

increase productivity

By preheating the drum while the previous batch is cooling down, you can save time and increase productivity.

Preheating for a sequential roast begins during cool down. By reducing the lead time to reheat the drum, the S9

Roast 4 batches per hour*.

* Batches per hour may vary based on green beans or planned roast level.

Spend your valuable time on other tasks. The S9 ensures consistency thanks to its intelligent replication feature.

Once a roast profile has been saved, there is no need to manually replicate the profile. The S9 can replicate saved profiles with great precision and accuracy- from controlling the heat to discharging and cooling. Leave the roasting to the S9 and spend your valuable time on other tasks like customer care, marketing, packaging, cupping, etc.
