Setting the temperature

pictogram_01.png

You no longer have to worry about the overheated drum temperature due to the previous roasting process.

Traditional gas roasters are slow to respond to various heat demands. Consequently, it takes longer to heat up and cool down the drum. Controlling heat transfer becomes even more difficult as the drum gets hotter with successive roasts. Because of this, roasters must select the light roast level first before moving on to the dark roast.

The S7 PRO  has against itall the limitations of conventional gas roasterseliminated andenables any level of roasting at any time. The internal temperature and the temperature of the drum wall are measured and can be controlled. The drum material reacts quickly and reliably to different heat requirements.

preheat

pictogram_02_edited.png

You can preset both the inside and the wall temperature of the drum to the desired temperature.

The most important element for the invariant replication of the stored roast profile is the constant air temperature in the drum and the temperature of the drum wall once the coffee beans are placed in the drum.

The measurement of the drum wall temperature in conventional gas roasters is not entirely precise. Even if it is measured, the same temperature exposure will lead to different roasting results due to the differences in the external environment, the condition of the coffee beans and other uncontrollable ones

Variables. Although conventional roasters are equipped with a variety of other measurement sensors, they cannot accurately predict the roast trend without accurate and continuous temperature measurement of the drum wall.

The S7 PRO measures the temperature of the drum wall and interior and preheats it to the target temperature. The tower drum sensor is embedded in the stationary 5-layer drum structure. It continuously measures and adjusts its temperature to reach and maintain the target temperature.

receive a notification

pictogram_03-1.png

No more monitoring the coffee roaster during preheating. The S7 PRO will inform you as soon as

the drum has reached its preset temperature.

Set the preheating temperature for the interior and the tower drum. The coffee roaster heats up automatically until the two preset temperatures are reached. The message "Preheat complete. Ready to Roast" is displayed on the screen in the form of an alarm notification.
No need to set a timer or keep checking the thermometer.

The S7 PRO will notify you when it's ready for another roast at the exact same preset temperatures.

Control heat sources

pictogram_04.png

Careful control of the heat source allows you to get the perfect roast every time.

The intensity of the hot air (convection) and the halogen (radiation) can be controlled individually from level 0 to 20.Through the precise and separate control of the two heat sourcescan usera wider range of flavorsdevelop and explore.

Roast

The S7 PRO is now smarter thanks to the additional features.

During the preheating phasepotential external influences are taken into accountandMade micro-level thermal adjustmentsto minimize the error between the planned and actual roast trends.

1. Additional measurements and features give roasters more control over the roasting environment.

2. The bean temperature rate of rise (RoR) and development time ratio (DTR) are displayed.

3. Hot air and flue gas temperature

4. A 10-level control over the impeller speed

5. The advanced data logging feature

All measurements areReal timedisplayed.

unloading

pictogram_06_edited.png

Three times faster cooling prevents the coffee beans from advancing after unloading.

The fan des S7 PRO coolsthe roasted beansto room temperature within 1.5 minutes. That's about a third of the time required by other roasters. Faster cooling prevents residual heat from further developing the beans after unloading.

* The relationship between cooling time and coffee taste: According to a study, the cooling time after roasting can have a significant impact on the taste of coffee beans. After more than 4 minutes, the "sweetness" of the beans will be significantly reduced. In general, the longer the chilling time, the higher the chance of over-roasted or dried-out beans, resulting in an imbalanced flavor.

cooling down

pictogram_07_edited.png

You no longer have to wait for the coffee roaster to cool down. Just turn it off once you're done roasting.

The 5-layer drum structure responds quickly to the changes in heat control and ensures a longer service life. Unlike the traditional drum roasters that require the user to wait for the roasting drum to cool down to prevent deformationthe S7 PRO  eliminated such an inefficiency. The coffee roastercan be turned off immediatelyand is nevertheless  protected from deformation.

pictogram_08-1_edited.png

Roast consistency is guaranteed by Stronghold's own advanced replication algorithm.

Stronghold's X-Lab has spent years developing and improving its proprietary profile replication algorithm to create aunprecedented level of replication accuracy and consistencyto reach. The algorithm takes replication to the next level. The change of external factors is automatically detected. Heat is adjusted to achieve perfect replication beyond human ability.

Develop a perfect roast profile.

The S7 PRO  is the best option on the market to explore different types of coffee. By integrating advanced sensor technology and embedded software, the S Seriesreliable roast data readily available. savedroast profilescan without old-fashioned profile log noteseasily managed digitallyandanalyzedwill.

Additionally, the replication mode can be switched to manual mode during roasting, allowing the roaster to test how each tweak affects flavor.
